Pyrotechnic, Fireworks, and Flame Effect/Performance Permits
The Lake Cities Fire Department requires a permit for all firework, pyrotechnic or flame effect- displays and productions. For all public and private displays and production events, shall first be approved by the Lake Cities Fire Department prior to the event date to avoid any penalties.
Please Note: Pyrotechnic, Fireworks, and Flame Effect- displays, productions and performances may also require an approval by the pertaining city or town.
Fireworks are not permitted in the Lake Cities Area. It is illegal to sell, possess, or discharge fireworks within the incorporated limits and territories of Corinth, Hickory Creek, Lake Dallas and Shady Shores and may be subject to a fine of up to $2,000. Officers identifying persons violating the fireworks restriction will use zero-tolerance enforcement.

For Hickory Creek, Lake Dallas, and Shady Shores applicants, you will be redirected to the City of Corinth Website. Please register and when prompted, please select the town or city where the work will be performed.
