Education & Outreach

The Lake Cities Fire Department is dedicated to reducing fire and life safety risks in the community by providing public education & outreach at daycare's, pre-schools, K-12 schools, special events and through fire house tours. The program is for all ages including adults.

The program serves by:

• Engaging and educating children and adults on fire prevention, fire and life safety and the role of firefighters in helping keep them safe.
• Providing integrated, quality teaching resources for the appropriate age group.
• Providing specific age-appropriate messages and skills, including meeting the Texas State Fire Marshal’s Office Education Learning Standards.
