Municipal Court

The Municipal Court interprets and adjudicates applicable state laws and supports the local community by providing efficient and effective services through the promotion of justice. The Municipal Court has jurisdiction over Class C misdemeanors issued by Corinth Police officers, Code Compliance officers, Animal Control officers, and the Fire Marshal.

The court serves the citizens of Corinth in an accountable, efficient, and independent manner. In addition to providing fair and equal access to all citizens, the court also strives to facilitate the timely disposition of cases with prompt and courteous service. 

In Person Court

The Corinth Municipal Court offers in person court dockets. When requesting a court date in person or in writing, please indicate whether you are requesting an in person or virtual docket.

A court participant shall alert the court as required above prior to physically appearing before the court.

Virtual Court

Youth Diversion Program

H.B 3186 (88th Legislative Session), the Texas Youth Diversion and Early Intervention Act, increases opportunities for early identification of at-risk youth and for redirecting children accused of certain Class C misdemeanors. The program make strategies available at the front end of a case where they can be more effective. The Corinth Municipal Court has adopted a Youth Diversion Plan effective January 1, 2025, as per H.B. 3186.  Youth Diversion Plan
