Design should reach 100% this month.
September 2024
Redesigned plans are now at 90%.
June 2024
Project is at 90%, but due to a redesign request, the bid process has been delayed. Project is expected to go to bid late summer 2024.
April 2024
Project will be at 90% design end of April. Project is expected to go to bid early June.
February 2024
Council approved the project. City staff is coordinating design and timeline with other developers in the area.
January 2024
Council is reviewing the project on Thursday, January 4, 2024.
September 2023
The City consultant is at 60% design and we are working with developers in this area to ensure the overall vision of a pedestrian-friendly town center is met.
May 2023
The City has contracted with Walter P. Moore to design the reconstruction of Walton Drive from the new roundabout around Metroplex Cabinets to Shady Rest Lane. The roadway will incorporate on-street parking for use within the Agora District as well as improving the driving surface to concrete with curb and gutter along with upgraded drainage facilities.
