Business Retention & Expansion

Overview

In addition to recruiting and developing new economic opportunities for the community, the Corinth Economic Development Corporation is equally invested in supporting our existing firms through a comprehensive Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) Strategy. The International Economic Development Council attributes existing business to be "in the best position to quickly create jobs and contribute to the tax base" (Parkins et. al., 2017).

The Corinth Economic Development Corporation's BRE Strategy is guided by three main goals:

1. Strengthen our connection with the community.
2. Provide tools and resources for success.
3. Promote the Corinth business community to residents and the greater DFW region. 

Through pursuing objectives and corresponding action items related to each of these goals, the City and CEDC aim to sustain and grow the City of Corinth's tax base, bolster a greater sense of community and quality of life for the businesses and residents of Corinth, and create a strong business ecosystem to draw regional and local attraction.
