Economic Development is much more than increasing opportunities for meaningful employment, funding infrastructure and developing a highly skilled workforce that can compete globally. Under the direction of the Mayor and the City Council, the Corinth Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) is dedicated to the successful delivery and implementation of a comprehensive Economic Development program for Corinth that will safeguard our economic interests, increase our property and sales tax revenues and promote the retention, expansion and attraction of business and industry that share our values as a community, as well as our commitment to excellence.
The core of the CEDC's efforts are:
- To promote the economic characteristics and resources that competitively distinguish Corinth from other communities, to include the community's location, access to a highly educated and deeply skilled labor pool and an exceptional quality of life.
- To market and brand Corinth through traditional and social media outlets as a desirable, and highly sought after community where businesses can locate, expand and flourish.
- To retain, expand and attract business and industry that will expand the tax base, enhance the community's quality of life and create meaningful employment opportunities.
