Social media marketing is a powerful way for businesses of all sizes to reach prospects and customers. People discover, learn about, follow, and shop from brands on social media, so if you’re not on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, you’re missing out! Great marketing on social media can bring remarkable success to your business, creating devoted brand advocates and even driving leads and sales.
The webinar will be designed to help engage and educate our business stakeholders about the importance of social media and online reputation for their business. This exciting webinar will teach the business community about everything they need to know to create a digital marketing strategy to attract more customers and improve sales. About the Presenters
Melita Pawlowski holds her bachelor’s in business marketing from the University of Northern Colorado. She spent three years working for a marketing agency that supported many small, locally-owned businesses by developing strategic marketing campaigns, building community events and partnerships, managing social media platforms, and creating new websites. Melita now works as a Communications and Marketing Specialist at Slate Communications, where she helps local municipalities across the country better reach and engage their residents.
Lacey Mays received her bachelor’s in English and marketing from Linfield and holds an MBA from Willamette University. She worked for several years for the McMinnville Economic Development Partnership, managing external messaging, social media, and website. Lacey also worked as a Community Engagement Manager in Newberg, Oregon, before joining Slate Communications as a Marketing and Communications Strategist. At Slate, she works with many local government and economic development organizations to improve their communication with residents, businesses, and community members.
About the Organizers
The Corinth Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) was created in 2002 as a nonprofit, Type B corporation under the Texas Development Corporation Act. It is financed by a half-cent sales tax collected in the City of Corinth. State law allows the city to collect this sales tax to pursue specifically authorized economic development activities in the city. Mission is to create jobs which will improve the economic opportunities and quality of life for all residents of Corinth.
